When are the meetings?

The Midland Jaycees meet the third Tuesday of each month at the Midland Eagles Banquet Hall (2934 East Monroe Road, Midland, MI 48642).

Is there a minimum requirement for participation?

No. The Jaycees is a unique organization that does not require participation in events. We have a saying around the Jaycees, "You get out of the organization what you put into it". You decide your le

What if I can't attend the monthly meetings?

There is no attendance requirement for meetings. We have several events each month and you can participate in as many or as little as you like.

Are the Jaycees affiliated with a religion?

No. We welcome people of all religions.

What do you mean by “leadership training”?

All aspects of our organization are devoted to polishing the leadership skills of our members. The programs and events with which we are involved generally mirror “real world” experiences. Jaycees regularly learn and practice speaking, writing, budgeting, teamwork, marketing, interpersonal and many other skills which make them more valuable to their employers and more successful in life.

Are you a male-only organization?

No. However, this was the case until the mid 1980’s. Today the Junior Chamber has women as its leaders at every level of the organization.
